Thursday GoH Dinner
The GoH dinner happens on Thursday night. It is a meal to welcome our GoHs, fill our stomachs, and get ready for the convention to begin. Anyone is welcome to join but we do ask you to RSVP.

Thursday Charity Event
Join us on Thursday evening following the GoH dinner for a charity event that promises to entertain as well as do good.
Thursday night Karaoke for a Cause will happen again this year at Storming the ConFusion. All proceeds will benefit Merlin’s KIDS. Merlin’s KIDS transforms the lives of dogs by rescuing them from shelters, training them and giving them a very meaningful purpose to their lives. These special dogs in turn help transform the lives of both the children and the adults they serve with a life long commitment to love, care for and assist….
- Children with Autism and other Special Needs
- Veterans that suffer with PTSD
- Firefighters with our Disease Detection Dog program
- Victims of Violence and Abuse with our Courtroom Cortisol Canine Program
It will be hosted by Blasted Bill Putt on Thursday night in the Big Top – Michigan Ballroom from 9pm to 1am and songs will be based on the KaraFun Library. A Facebook event has been made and is located here!
Please join us for a fun-filled time and to help this worthy cause. If you can’t make the Karaoke for a Cause event, you can still help! Donation jars will be located at the Registration Table, at Ops, and in Consuite. Swing by any location to donate.
Friday Dessert Reception
The Dessert Reception occurs on Friday night directly following opening ceremonies. Located in our Cliffs of Insanity Consuite, it is a chance to chat with GoHs, panelists, and staff over delicious desserts.
Friday Dance Party with DJ Scalzi
Dance the night way with DJ Scalzi spinning the tunes! Located in the Michigan Ballroom. Starting at 9:00pm
Saturday Iron Artist
Iron Artist is a huge event when artists compete to create wonderful pieces of art while under the clock! Check it out and vote for your favorite. Voting ballots will be located at Ops in the Classic Boardroom. Email: Art@ConFusionSF.org for more details.
Saturday Autograph Sessions 1 and 2
Authors, Artists, Musicians! We gather them all together for a massive signing event! Both session will be held Saturday in the Erie Ballroom. Look for the Autograph Session in the Program Book to find out who will be signing this year. There is no extra charge to attend this event or for signatures, however, we do ask you to keep it to a three item limit.
Saturday Masquerade

Urban Fantasy Author and inflatable dragon afficianado, Diana Rowland, hosts her annual Fun Run around the hotel! Do what you can to make it a mile and win a medal! Meet in the Atrium at 8:00am.
